At Boots N Paddles we work closely with a number of other quality organisations that complement the products and services that we offer.  Here's a bit more about them:

Rothiemurchus Estate

Rothiemurchus Estate

Situated at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, this living Highland Estate presents a unique blend of stunning landscapes, exciting outdoor activities, and locally sourced crafts and foods.  You may choose simply to walk or cycle around the carefully maintained paths, taking in the spectacular scenery.  Or perhaps you would like to take part in some of the many outdoor activities they offer; from clay shooting, fishing, quad bike trekking, pony hacking and off road driving, to archery, wildlife watching and canoeing.

Boots N Paddles work very closely with Rothiemurchus on a number of activity-based projects and services.

Forestry Commission

Forestry Commision

The Forestry Commission serve as the forestry directorate of the Scottish Government, advising on and implementing forestry policy and managing the national forest estate. Their mission is to protect and expand Scotland's forests and woodlands and increase their value to society and the environment.

Boots N Paddles work with the Forestry Commission on issues such as land access, activity-based projects e.g. Great Glen Canoe Trail, and will regularly help clean up litter off Commission land, as we do everywhere we go, when out on day to day activities.

Scottish Youth Hostel Association

Scottish Youth Hostel Association

The Scottish Youth Hostels Association (SYHA) is Scotland’s largest network of tourist hostels, with around 60 locations spread across the country. They aim to provide comfortable, value accommodation with a friendly welcome for people travelling round our beautiful country.  They also run a number of activity holidays and city breaks, and a thriving social inclusion programme, Give Us A Break, which provides activity breaks to disadvantaged young people from Scotland.

Boots N Paddles regularly collaborate with the SYHA providing accommodation and activities for groups visiting the Highlands. We are an approved SYHA activity provider.

Lagganlia

Lagganlia Lodges

We provide activities for some of the guests that stay at the Lagganlia Lodges and our director Mike is a Trustee of the Friends of Lagganlia Charity.

Lagganlia Lodges include 5 comfortable self-catering Forest Lodges (6-18 beds) in a tranquil forest location in scenic & unspoilt Glen Feshie – walking & mountain biking from your doorstep!  15 minutes from the A9 and from Aviemore & Kingussie. Green Tourism Silver award.

Fishing Scotland

Fishing Scotland

From Lochs Morar, Arkaig, Quoich, Inchlaggan and Garry in the west through Glen Spean, to the River Spey from its source above Laggan in Badenoch, the Fishing Scotland School of Fly Fishing and Fly Casting provides private wild brown trout, wild Atlantic Salmon and Northern Pike "Learn to Fly Fish" and guided/coaching fly fishing trips and excursions for experienced anglers.  Their private Learn Fly Fishing and guided fly fishing excursions provide proven traditional Scottish fly casting techniques honed and developed through generations of fly fishing experience here in Western Highland Scotland.

We recently worked with these guys providing a combined activity and fishing package for a group of 50+ Americans on holiday in Scotland.  Your groups doesn't of course, have to be as big as this!

WOWBALLS, UK and Europe

Wowballs® was set-up to fill a special niche in today's water sport market. Wowballs® believe in a sport for all philosophy especially when it comes to children, not least those with disabilities and learning difficulties.  Within their first year they successfully set-up several of their own hire centres, have a Wowballs® venue in the USA with Australia now following suit.
