How many people do I need in a group? We primarily (although not exclusively) cater for groups of 5 or 6 people and upwards, tending not to lay on activities for groups smaller than this or individuals. However, we do provide activities for smaller groups and individuals through partner organisations like Rothiemurchus Estate in Aviemore who we currently offer archery, canoeing, TreeZone, gorge walking and gorge swimming through. You don't have to be a group if you're planning to hire canoes or sea kayaks from us; we will happily hire out single boats to individuals or small groups. What types of groups do Boots N Paddles cater for? We cater for a large variety of groups and have a huge amount of experience in dealing with the different situations that might arise when organising group events. The following are examples of the types of groups we have worked with in the past and will continue to do so: -Charities What sorts of things do I need to bring along on the day? Once you've secured your booking with us we will provide a list of things that you need to bring along on the day and what we'll provide. We'll provide all the equipment you need but can also provide things like waterproofs if necessary. Although we're not in the catering trade, we can organise packed lunches for you, but we generally find that clients will bring along their own food and drinks. That is unless, of course, you book on one of our expeditions whereby we organise the food and will even cook it for you while you sit and relax! Add a comment |
