Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland

The Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland is a registered charity in Scotland (No SC015257), all Mountain Rescue is voluntary and funded by public donations. 

Teams are made up of volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year. They respond to the need to find and rescue people whenever called. Each team has to carry a variety of equipment to meet the challenge of Rescues in all weathers.


The Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland provides support to the teams in the form of Courses, Grants and Equipment.
